I saw The Hunger Games this weekend. I have to admit I didn’t expect to like it much because of all the hype. I LOVED IT. It was riveting, pulled at the heart strings in all the right ways, and was visually awesome. I loved the futuristic victorian era style of the city folk, juxtaposed with the 1940′s country folk style, with a modern edge.
I left the theater wanting to see more, excited for the sequel, in awe of all the sparkle and glitz, and stoked to try out some pretty yet tough side braids.
