Starting with the ombre look, dip dying has been a fashionable go-to technique for some time now. Now the look has evolved from soft and natural to bright and bold! Even Nicole Richie is doing it, so we know its the real deal.
Fashionistas the world over are paying the big bucks to have this technique done, and HTHG is here to tell you that it is a totally do-able DIY.
You can try this look out using Color Bug by KM.
For the more permanent version, use bleach to color the ends of the hair in a ponytail to create an ombre effect, and then you can recolor the ends with another special effects color, say pink or blue or purple. Here is the easiest way to DIY it at home. Try it!
Here is dip-dye using Fishbowl, Pimpin purple, and Atomic pink.
