The scarf roll! A modernized Rosie the Riveter look.

This beautiful look is very retro. It is a modernized, romaticized Rosie the Riveter style. In the 1930’s, this style was used when women returned to the workplace to keep their hair out of heavy machinery. It is tough yet pretty. I LOVE it! I would like to thank www.latest-hairstyles.com for publishing this tutorial on their site! (Check them out!)

It involves getting a scarf and rolling it up so it’s long and thin.

Then, putting your hair in a low ponytail, and pull the ponytail holder down towards the end of the hair. Place the scarf over the ends of the ponytail and roll it up towards the base of the head.

Bring the ends of the scarf around the head and tie in the front, slightly off center. Tuck in all the hair that feels loose, and either leave the bangs down, or tuck ‘em back.

Now take this trend setting look to the streets or the workplace and rock it!
