Hannah asks this question
Is it true you can strip black hair dye by using lemon washing up liquid and bicarbinoted soda to wash your hair,my daughter dyed her hair black in a moment of frustration because she wanted her hair rhianna red and payed the hairdresser to do it that colour but the finishing colour was not red at all, have you any tips on how she can get red hair please. And I love your page
Let’s first consider the condition that her hair is in. If it has been chemically processed twice in the last month or so, another chemical process is not a good idea immediately. So starting with dish soap-baking soda is a safe bet to begin the stripping of the black. It will dry the hair, so do a coconut oil treatment once a week, and dish soap-baking soda once a week for the next month. Then, we will re-evaluate the color and condition of her hair. At this point, It may be possible to use a chemical stripper to remove some more black, and then go over it with the red that you desire. After all of that, protein treatments and coconut oil treatments alternately once a week for another month to help restore vitality and strength.
